Philippa's Florals is on Maternity Leave

Philippa is currently away from the studio on maternity leave from 29th June 2026-April 2027 to prepare for and spend time with her new arrival. Apologies, no gifting, workshops, weddings, funerals or events will be carried out during this time.

Planning a Wedding, Workshop or Event?

Philippa will be officially returning to her desk in April 2027, and the diary is now open for bookings from May 2027 onwards!

Philippa's email inbox will only be monitored very occasionally during her maternity leave (June 2026-April 2027). If you are planning a celebration for late spring or summer 2027 onwards and would love to work together, please fill out either the Get in Touch form, or for weddings Bespoke Full-Service Wedding Form, or the Ready to Wear Form. Philippa will be reviewing and responding to these inquiries around once a month and booking Bespoke Full Service consultations as soon as she returns from maternity leave.

Welcome to Philippa's Florals

Hi, I'm Philippa Watson, a colourful people person with a passion for anything floral.

Growing up surrounded by the beauty of the Worcestershire countryside instilled in me a deep love for nature. My other great love is a desire to help others, which led me to a career as a Genetic Counsellor in Cambridge.

While rewarding, I eventually realised that it was not the right career path for me. It was through designing and arranging my own wedding flowers that I truly discovered my passion. I love British flowers grown locally and use them in as many of my designs as possible.

For me, floristry is more than just arranging flowers; it's about bringing joy to others. As P.T. Barnum once said, "The noblest art is that of making others happy"; and that is the mantra I live by. I opened Philippa’s Florals to create vibrant, beautiful arrangements that are specifically designed to evoke happiness.

Your Wedding, Your Flowers

At Philippa's Florals, we work with locally grown, seasonal British flowers and foliage, utilising entirely foam-free, eco-friendly mechanics. We offer both fresh and dried wedding designs that honour the seasons, sourcing fresh flowers primarily from local flower farms to bring the very best of British blooms to your celebration.

How it will work during Philippa’s Maternity Leave (June 2026-April 2027)

To allow me to focus entirely on my new family, our studio is on maternity leave until April 2027.

Because we source fresh flowers from local growers and coordinate freelance teams, we strictly limit the number of weddings we accept each month during our seasonal window of April to October. Please note that dried flower weddings can be offered all year round.

To secure your 2027 or future date early, and receive a personalised quote framework while the studio is paused, please select one of the two pathways below:

Pathway 1: Bespoke Full-Service Weddings, including items requiring on-site setup, minimum spend £1,500.

Pathway 2: Ready-to-wear, couples do not require large-scale, on-site venue setups, no minimum spend and collection on the wedding day morning (or another pre-arranged time) from Philippa’s Florals Studio, Great Shelford.
